What are terpenes?
Terpenes are natural aromatic molecules present in all plants and determine their smell, taste and effect. B.C.:
• Linalool in lavender → relaxing
• Myrcene in hops → sedative
• Limonene in citrus → uplifting
At Heald we use exclusively plant terpenes (without THC or CBD), which give the blends a targeted effect.
What does terpene-infused mean?
It is the process by which our blends are infused with terpenes solution to absorb flavor, aroma and properties. This is how the targeted effect is achieved (energy, relaxation, concentration, sleepiness).
Can I mix blends together?
Yes of course and you can combine blends to create a hybrid effect depending on the ratio you use.
Can I mix them with tobacco?
We don't recommend it. Tobacco contains >7,000 chemicals (250 toxic, 70 carcinogenic) that negate the benefits of blends. Use in combination with tobacco only if you wish for a smoother transition.
